This type of service will allow us to test configurations within the panel without incurring commission charges for its use.
This functionality is only available for new pricing. Old plans can continue to use the standard services for their tests.
Creating a new Test Mode service
First, head to your TuriTop control panel and click on the Services tab. Once there, click on Create new Service.
When prompted, name your service, select an activity from the list and activate the test mode. Finally, click on the ‘Save and Preview’ button to create the service.
Additional Configurations:
Both the Standard and Test Mode services are configured in the same way so you can follow this guide to see the steps.
Once the necessary tests have been carried out, you will be able to move this service to production in the same service editing panel by selecting the Deactivate test mode button:
If necessary, you can put it back into Test Mode in the Advanced Settings section of the same service by unchecking the Activate Test Mode box:
During the tests you will notice that in different parts of the TuriTop dashboard, we have added a ‘Test Mode’ String to make it clear that the actions performed by this service are for testing and not for production to avoid internal management errors. Here are the most important examples:
Strings on the bookings:
Strings in booking PDFs and confirmation emails:
Strings in the reservation calendar:
Strings in the Calendar tab when inserting a booking from the back office:
