Where can I find it? Company >>> Components/Integrations >>> Google Analytics
This version of Google Analytics will be deprecated on the 1st of July 2023 and, therefore, its integration within TuriTop will be discontinued by the 24th of June of the same year.
Instructions
Step 1: Find Google Analytics ID
Find your Google Analytics user ID. It looks like this: UA-XXXXXXXX-Y, and you can find it inside your GA panel. To do this, access your GA panel, then click on the "admin" tab at the top, then choose your account. Access "properties" and finally click on "Tracking information" >>> "Tracking ID".

Step 2: Enter Google Analytics ID in your TuriTop booking system
Copy and paste your GA's code into your TuriTop's control panel. You'll find it in ''Company'' >>> ''Components / Integrations'' >>> ''Google Analytics''.

Step 3: Activate E-Commerce in GA
After logging in to the GA panel, click on the "admin" tab in the upper right corner. Then you will see three columns: "ACCOUNT", "PROPERTIES" and "VISTA". In the third column "VISTA", click on "Electronic Commerce Settings" and click on Enable Electronic Commerce, then change it to Yes. More information: here.
Step 4: Check Real-Time Conversions
Don't forget to check on Google Analytics Real-Time the interactions alongside the booking widget. You may do this from your Google Analytics Dashboard >>> Real-Time >>> Conversions.
Once you have opened this tool, you may start interacting with the widget.
Step 5: Deactivate the Bots Filter
For the integration to work properly, you will need to deactivate the "Exclude all hits from known bots and spiders" option. To do this, go to your Google Analytics dashboard >>> click on "admin" >>> "view" >>> "view settings" and click on the checkbox:
Step 6: Verification
After 24 hours have passed since the last real transaction and having GA active, it's important to check for the conversions to reach GA correctly from your Dashboard in Admin >>> E-Commerce >>> Conversions.
What you will get
Upon activation, your Google Analytics account will start registering events and transactions made by your website visitors
There are five types of *events*:
First interaction (when the user clicks for the first time on the booking widget)
Event-ticket selected (the user already selected date and tickets and clicked next to start adding customer info)
Item added to cart
Payment Gateway (online payment started, but was not necessarily completed)
Booking successful (all steps of the booking process were completed by the visitor)
*Transactions*: Successful booking will create transactions, containing the number of ticket types booked and their value. For every service, each ticket type will be registered as a different product. However, all ticket types that belong to the same service will share the same product SKU inside Google Analytics (e.g. P1) so you will be able to view stats grouped by service when clicking on GA product SKU (edited).
