How to enable 2FA in your account

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an identity and access management security method that requires two forms of identification to access resources and data.

We strongly recommend that every TuriTop user activates it in order to prevent data leaks or unauthorized accesses to their panels.

To do so, you will have to follow these simple steps:

1. Login to your TuriTop panel, click on the avatar of the upper-right screen and select "My Account".

2. In the next screen, you will see a summary of your personal data and a button that says Enable 2FA. Click it and you will see the instructions to install an external application for your mobile device (we suggest Google Authenticator or Authify).

3. Follow the instructions of the pop-up window shown in order to download your preferred app, select the "+" icon and generate the Verification code. You can do so by scanning the QR Code or pasting the code shown directly in your app.

4. Once you have the Verification code, insert it in the corresponding field, type your current TuriTop password and click Confirm.

5. You're all setup! You can check if the 2FA is activated if the Enable 2FA button changes to Disable 2FA.

Keep in mind: once you activate the 2FA, every time you need to log in again, you will have to follow the same procedure explained above to obtain the verification code and insert it to succesfully access to your panel.
