Soy Canary Green is an initiative promoted by the Association of Tourist Municipalities of the Canary Islands (AMTC) to showcase and connect businesses committed to sustainable values. Through its directory and digital map (GoodMarket), available in its official app, local businesses, artisans, and experience providers can demonstrate their commitment to the local community and environment, access training in responsible tourism, calculate their carbon footprint, and gain visibility among residents and tourists looking for more conscious consumption choices. Joining is completely free for businesses in the Canary Islands.

General information and service conditions

• Cost: The programme is completely free for businesses in the Canary Islands.

• Ideal business profile: Micro-businesses, local food and hospitality businesses, local/Km 0 retailers, artisans, unique accommodation providers, alternative leisure businesses, and projects with a strong cultural identity.

• Benefits included:

  • Visibility in GoodMarket, the interactive search tool/map available in the official app.

  • Specialised and flexible training in responsible tourism (workshops, short learning sessions and online modules).

  • Guidance and technical support from the Sustainability Office to help you calculate your carbon footprint.

  • A badge and physical sign for your establishment once your carbon footprint has been certified, recognising your membership in the Canary Islands Network of Sustainable Businesses.

How can I request the connection?

To register and connect your business to the platform, follow these steps:

1. Complete the registration form with your company details.

2. Create your profile on the platform and sign the commitment to activate your participation.

3. The Sustainability Office will contact you to help you create an attractive profile in the app and get started with the training programme.

How can I pause my services with Soy Canary Green?

To temporarily pause your visibility, deactivate your profile, or suspend the connection of your services in the Soy Canary Green app, you must contact the Soy Canary Green / Sustainability Office team directly (via email at oficina.sostenibilidad@amtcanarias.es or through the official contact channels provided on their platform), so they can manage the temporary suspension of your account.
