Where can I find it? Company >>> Transfers
At TuriTop you can create pick-up points to offer your transportation services (free or for a fee) to the event or meeting points to let them know where they will need to be to start the event.
To start, go to the Company tab >>> Transfers. As you will see, the system will not allow you to activate this feature until you add a pick-up point, with at least 1 hotel associated, or a meeting point. To learn how to configure them, keep reading below!
You can also create specific pick-up points, meeting points, and hotels for each of the services of your booking system (Services >>> PX >>> Transfers). The process remains the same wherever you set it up, but you can check the dedicated tutorial here.
Pick-up Points
Step 1: Add the Pick-Up Point/s
Write the name of the point where your clients will be picked up (usually somewhere near X amount of hotels) and click on "Add point".
Step 2: Define the Pick-Up time
Write how many minutes before the event starts your clients should be at the pick-up point. In the confirmation email, the clients will see an exact time calculated taking into account the event start time and what you have set here.
Step 3: Add the Coordinates
Add the coordinates to the pick-up point.
You can copy and paste the coordinates or click on the navigation button on the right of the field to make a map search.
In this new window, you can make a search or interact with the map to find the desired location. Once selected, click on "Save" to add the coordinates that will appear below.
For example:
Step 4: (Optional) Set a Fixed Price
Here you can set a general fixed price for that pick-up point and determine how many seats this price includes.
Another option is to leave these fields empty and configure the price on each of your services. At a service level, you can:
- Offer pick-up points for free.
- Set a fixed price and how many seats it includes.
- Set an added transfer price for each of your ticket types (in general or per pick-up point).
Would you like to vary prices per service or per ticket type? Learn more here.
Step 5: (Optional) Set Up the Time Exceptions
You can set up time exceptions for when that pick-up point will not be available.
Examples of exceptions:
00-00-2024 11:00 60 | This means that, during the year 2024, the pick-up time for the events starting at 11:00 will be 60 min. before the start time. |
00-04-2024 10:00 30 | This means that, during the month of April 2023, the pick-up time for the events starting at 10:00 will be 30 min. before the start time. |
15-04-2024 09:00 55 | This means that on the 15th of April 2024, the pick-up time for the event starting at 9:00 will be 55 min. before the start time. |
You can also exclude the pick-up point for a time period: by date range, single day, weekdays, or specific hours:
Step 6: Add the Hotels
Here you will need to add the hotels or locations associated with that pick-up point. Write the name and click on "Add hotel" to include a new option.
Then add coordinates to each hotel on your list. This works exactly as with the Step 3.
In the widget, your clients will choose one of these hotels/locations, and the system will then inform them what's the pick-up point associated and generate the map.
If you have many hotels per pick-up point it may be difficult for your clients to choose. That is why we implemented a search system where they can type the name of their hotel/location and narrow down the options.
Step 7: Activate Transfers
Once you have finished creating all the pick-up points, click on "Activate transfers" to enable them. You can also make the transfer mandatory by toggling the option "Transfer required".

Meeting points
Here are the steps you need to follow to configure your meeting points:
Step 1: Activate the Meeting Point
Inside the Company panel, go to Transfers, scroll down to find the Meeting point section, and enable the option "Activate meeting point":
Despite being activated, the meeting points will not be available until there is, at least, one hotel associated with them.
Step 2: Define a Pick-up Time
Type the pick-up time in minutes (prior to the event start time).
Step 3: Enter the Coordinates
You can copy and paste the coordinates or click on the navigation button on the right of the field to make a map search.
Step 4: (Optional) Set Up the Time Exceptions
Just as with the pick-up points, you can create exceptions for a meeting point.
Step 5: Add the Hotel/Locations Associated
Here you will need to add the hotels or locations associated with that meeting point.
Write the name, click on "Add hotel" to include a new option, and enter the coordinates.

Settings
Restrict pick-ups by anticipation
If needed, you can restrict how far in advance of the event you will offer pickups.
This can be set by "days/hours/minutes before the event starts" or by a "fixed time the day before the event".
Blacklist - disable transfers for particular service, event, day or month
You may also disable the transfers (both pick-up and meeting points) for particular service, event, day, or month:
