Where can I find it? More >>> Reports.
In this article, you will learn how to locate and analyse payment amounts in your TuriTop Booking System. This report will give you a detailed overview of your sales, bookings, agent commissions, and other data.
Unlike other reports, this one accounts for all amounts, including those that do not have a payment line registered in the Bookings tab (as is the case with sales from OTAs and external resellers such as Viator or GetYourGuide).
In addition, in this section, the amounts of deleted or cancelled bookings are automatically deducted from the count for each payment gateway.
If you need a technical breakdown based solely on the payment lines entered in each booking, we recommend consulting the section More >>> Payment transactions. You can find more information in this article.
How to generate a report
Step 1: Locate the section
Access your TuriTop control panel and go to the More tab >>> Reports:
Step 2: Select your filters
You will have various parameters at your disposal to filter the information, such as:
- Custom period: Select the date range for your search. You can filter by a specific day, week, month, quarter, year, or by a customised range.
- Date to search: Select whether you wish to filter the report by booking date (when the customer made the booking) or by event date (when the activity takes place).
- Display by: Select the date format you prefer for the report; you can choose to display it by year, month, or day, depending on the level of detail you need.
- Services: Select whether you prefer to view the report with the total data for all your services ("Sum all"), a breakdown service by service showing the totals for each one ("Show all"), or filter the information for a specific service.
- Group by: Select whether you prefer to segment the information in your report by agents, users, resellers, or country.
Clicking on the magnifying glass icon will display a breakdown with additional booking information, such as the number of tickets sold by category and the price applied to them:
If you delete a ticket or service from the system, please note that their original names will no longer appear in the report. However, the financial amounts associated with these items will remain reflected so as not to affect the integrity of your accounting.
Step 3: Select your columns
Once the filters have been applied, you can select the specific data you want to include in your report. This will be displayed in columns, such as:
- Bookings: Indicates the total number of bookings made during the selected period.
- Tickets: Reflects the total number of tickets sold for those bookings. Remember that clicking on the magnifying glass icon will display a breakdown with detailed information, such as the number of tickets sold by category and the price applied to them.
- Seats: Indicates the total number of seats allocated in your bookings for the selected period. This column is only applicable to services with an Auditorium configuration.
- Turnover: Represents the total gross income generated by sales. You will see the amount corresponding to each line and, in addition, you will have a summary with the grand total in the green box next to the column title.
- Reseller fees: Shows the amount of commission allocated to the Marketplace reseller, as agreed and configured in the system. As in other columns, the green box at the top will show the total sum of these commissions.
- Agent fees: Indicates the amount of commission corresponding to the agent (user) registered in your panel, based on the established configuration. It also includes a total sum in the column header.
- Payment gateways: Identifies the payment method used for the transaction, whether cash, card, or other configured methods.
Once the desired filters and data have been set, click on "Search".
A report like the one shown below will be generated, which you can download in .csv or .xls format by clicking on the 'CSV' or 'Excel' buttons, respectively.
In addition, you can sort the results in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column headers (Tickets, Turnover, etc.). When you click on the green title of each category, the list will automatically be organised according to your preferences.
