Create a new service for Tour/Activity

In this article, we will show you how to create a tour or activity service type. This format is designed for experiences where customers choose a specific date and start time when making their booking. It is the ideal service type if your activity operates with daily departure times or fixed itineraries.

Creating a New Service

1. Access the section: Go to your TuriTop control panel and click on the Services tab. Once inside, click the Create new service button.

   

2. Fill in the basic details: Enter a name for your service and select the corresponding activity type or category from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Save the service: Click the Save and preview button to confirm the creation of your new service.

Advanced Setup

If you wish to customize the booking experience, click on the Advanced drop-down menu. Here you can define the booking workflow type for your service:

• Standard (default): This applies to the tour or activity format where customers choose a specific date and start time for their booking.

• Open: Ideal for services where customers purchase a ticket without selecting a date or time right away, allowing them to redeem it within a specific validity period. You can find more information about open tickets in this article.
