Where can I find it? Services >>> PX (Desired Service) >>> Pricing and Discounts
In this article, you will discover how to get the most out of tiered pricing. This tool is the ideal solution for structuring dynamic rates and offering special conditions to specific groups, allowing you to strategically segment your offer using dynamic prices that override the standard rate based on the number of people.
For more details on setting up discounts, you can refer to this tutorial.
It is important to note that, due to the traceability logic of the system, it is not possible to edit the configuration of a discount once it has been saved. If you need to make any adjustments to the rules, values, or conditions, you will need to delete the current discount and generate a new one. We recommend that you carefully review all parameters before confirming the creation.

How to Set Up your Tiered Discounts
Tiered pricing allows you to offer dynamic rates based on the number of people booking the same type of ticket. To get started, go to the Services tab and select the specific service you want to work on.
Once there, follow these steps to configure your settings.
Step 1: Ticket Identification
Before you start configuring your tiered discounts, go to the Tickets section of your service and check:
- What types of tickets you have created (Adult, Child, etc.) and their standard price.
- What is the maximum capacity allowed for the specific ticket to which you want to apply the tiered price (Tickets >>> select the desired ticket >>> More >>> Max.)
Step 2: Setting Prices and Discounts
Once you have defined the ticket to which you want to apply tiered discounts, go to the Prices and Discounts section within your service. Here you will need to adjust the following key aspects depending on how many tickets you want to apply the discount to:
Settings for a single ticket type
- Discount type and value: Select the "Different price per ticket" option and enter the price for this ticket category.
- Apply to: Select the specific ticket (e.g. "Adult") to which you wish to apply the change.
- Minimum and Maximum Number of PAX: Define the range of people. For example, if you want a special price only for couples, enter: Minimum 2 / Maximum 2.
You can create as many combinations as you need (3 to 3, 4 to 4, 5 to 10, etc.) to cover all your price ranges.
Once you have finished configuring, click on the "Create" button. The system will automatically generate the discount and you will be able to view it in the list that appears at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the following example:
Settings for various ticket types
- Discount type and value: Select the "Different price per ticket" option and enter the price of the tickets. This value will apply equally to both.
- Apply to: Select the specific tickets (e.g. "Adult" and "Child") to which you wish to apply the change.
- Minimum and Maximum PAX: Define the range of people.
-
Sum all tickets for groupal discount: If you decide to apply the discount to more than one ticket type simultaneously, the system offers two ways to calculate it using the "Sum all tickets for groupal discount" box.
- If you leave the box unchecked: The discount will only apply to those tickets that individually reach the established range. Example: If the range is 5 to 10 people and you select 4 adults and 5 children, only the children will receive the discount for reaching the minimum.
- If you tick the box: The system will add up all the selected tickets to validate the range. Example: In the same case of 2 adults and 3 children, the system will add both (2+3=5) and apply the discount to all tickets for having reached the minimum together.
Each discount rule only allows you to set a single price value for all selected tickets; the system does not allow you to assign different prices within the same configuration. If you need each ticket type (such as Adult and Child) to have its own tiered price, you must create them as individual discounts and ensure that you always tick the "Make it cummulative?" box. This is essential for the system to allow both rules to coexist and apply the special price corresponding to each ticket type in the same booking.
Step 3: Verification in the Widget
You can check that the logic of the discounts created works as expected from Services >>>PX (Current Service) >>> Preview Widget.
Example: If you have configured the price for 1 adult to be €100, for 2 people the price drops to €40/ticket and for 3 people to €30/ticket, select these amounts in the calendar and verify that the total is updated correctly.
