Where can I find it? Services >>> Select a service >>> Tickets
In this article, you will learn how to assign a resource to a booking, which will make that resource private. This means it will be used exclusively by the customer who booked it, regardless of how many seats they reserved, and it will not be available for other customers for the duration of the booking.
Before you can use this feature, you must have a resource created and assigned to a service. If you haven't done this yet, we suggest reviewing this article, which explains how to create and share a resource.
Once a resource has been created and assigned to the service, go to the Services tab >>> Select a service >>> Tickets, and check the box for "Assign a resource(s) to a booking."
This action ensures that as soon as a booking is made, the resource is assigned to that customer. Even if the resource has available seats, they will no longer be available for other customers.
Let's look at an example:
A booking has been made for the service P28 - Private Museum Tour at 5:00 PM.
Since we set the configuration to assign a resource to a single booking, the reservation for 4 adults and 2 children has made the tour private. As a result, even though there were 9 seats left, they are no longer bookable by other customers, and we cannot manually add any more reservations.
