Where can I find it? Company/services >>> Channel Manager >>> GetYourGuide
If you have configured pick-up points (transfers) in your TuriTop services, you can generate a product ID for each pick-up point created and then map each with a product option on your GetYourGuide panel.
It is currently impossible to map the pick-up points set in GetYourGuide(tutorial) with the pick-up points set in TuriTop.
Instructions
Check first the main guide to understand the whole connection process. Once you are ready to retrieve the product IDs and connect your GetYourGuide, go to the service you want to connect: Services >>> PX >>> Channel Manager >>> GetYourGuide.
If you have the transfer system enabled for the service, you will see 2 options:
1. Without transfer
The standard option. Availability will be synced, but when bookings are mapped, they won't be associated with any of the pick-up points configured in your TuriTop service.
2. With transfer
With this option, you will be able to generate a TuriTop Product ID for each of the pick-up points configured. If you map each with a product option on GetYourGuide, when bookings are mapped, they will be associated with the pick-up points configured in your TuriTop service.
Once you have selected a pick-up point and the time to use as event time, you will be able to copy the product ID at the end of the block. Remember, this code will be later used to connect this option with your GetYourGuide product option.
You can only map a GetYourGuide product option with 1 TuriTop Product ID.
Example:
In this product, I offer 3 pick-up points, so I will create within my GetYourGuide product 3 different options:
And then I will connect each option with the TuriTop Product ID of each pick-up option:
Choosing the event start time with pick-ups
You can choose what time to pass to GetYourGuide as the event start time:
- Use regular event time: Choose this option if you would like to use the time you have set for the event in your TuriTop service schedule.
- Use pick-up time as event time: When choosing this option, GYG will use the pick-up time established for the main event time.
Example:
In my service, I have events at 9 a.m. every day:
And for the pick-up "Point 1", I established a pick-up time of 30 minutes before the event time:
Then, if I choose the option Use regular event time, GYG will receive as the event start time: 9 a.m. If I choose the option Use pick-up time as event time, GYG will receive as the event start time: 8:30 a.m.
