Connecting MailChimp

 Warning: the MailChimp integration feature only works if your customer has accepted the "I wish to receive the newsletter" check-box in the Booking Form. To enable this field (GDPR mandatory as of May 2018), please refer to this article here.

Create an API Key and connect to TuriTop

Step 1: Log in to your Mailchimp account

Once you're in your MailChimp dashboard, in the upper right corner, click on your company and then click on Account:

After you select your account, click on Extras >>> API Keys:

Step 2: create an API Key

Click on "Create Key" to create an API key to connect to your TuriTop Booking System:

Now your API Key has been successfully created and all you need to do is copy it to your clipboard.

Step 3: log into your TuriTop account

Log into your TuriTop Booking System's control panel (click here) and head to the Company tab >>> Components / Integrations >>> MailChimp and paste the key generated in the previous step. Additionally, click on the "Enabled" checkmark: 

Now your TuriTop account (click here) is connected to MailChimp via API.

Step 4: assign MailChimp lists

In order to assign a MailChimp list in TuriTop's Services, you have two options:

Option 1: Select the main list

This option allows you to select the main list to assign all your services in TuriTop. To enable this option, go to your TuriTop's control panel >>> Company >>> Components / Integrations >>> MailChimp and select a main list:

Option 2: Select a list by service

In contrast, if you would like to assign a list to a certain service, go your Services Tab >>> Edit >>> Booking email / Receipt >>> MailChimp and un-click the "Use company defaults" checkmark:

After you un-check the marked box mentioned above, select a list to use with this service:
