Where can I find it? Company >>> User Invitations.
You can invite users to join a given company to give them access to the associated TuriTop panel. To do so, follow the steps described below:
Keep in mind: Invitations will arrive at the recipient from the company you're currently logged in to. For example, if you're logged in to the account L256, users will be invited to this company. If you need to send an invite from another panel, you'll need to switch to that company first as explained here.
Step 1: Sending the invitation
Go to the Company tab from your control panel and find the User Invitations section.
Enter the email address of the user you want to invite, select the type of permission, and click "Send invite".
Available user types: Agent, Translator, Designer, Check-in operator, Manager, Supplier, and Custom.
Keep in mind: "Agent" will be selected by default, but you can change the type before sending the invitation. If you want to change the user type once the invitation has been accepted, you must do it from the Manage Users section.
Step 2: Accepting the invitation
Your user will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation as shown in the screenshot below. They must just click on "Join...".
Step 3: Registration
Your user must register on the TuriTop platform (if they already are, they must just log in).
When they click on the invitation the following window will appear as shown below. Then they will have to fill in the requested fields and click on "Sign Up Free".
When they register, the system will take them to the "My account" window where they can:
- Change their account details: name, email, and phone number.
- Change their preferences: time zone, language, etc.
- Create new companies, navigate between companies, and select which company opens by default at log-in.
- Delete their account (as long as they are not the Owner of a company). For more information on this point, click here.
Users will belong to the company from which they were invited, but from this window, they will also be able to create new companies. Want to know how to create companies? Click here.
You can check if your user has accepted the invitation and completed the registration in your TuriTop panel.
To do so, go to Company >>> User Invitations >>> Pending Invitations:
If your user has not received or cannot find the invitation, click on "Resend invitation".
If the invitation is not found, it may have been received in the spam or promotions folder.
If for some reason you need to delete an invitation you have sent, select it from the drop-down and click on "Delete invitation".
Both the "Owner" and the "Administrators" can accept the invitation on behalf of a new user to skip the registration process and add them directly to the TuriTop panel. This will be especially useful when you want to register agents under an alias without giving them access to your panel.
Note that, by skipping the registration process, this user will not have a defined access password. If at some point they need to access the panel, they will need to reset their password and, if needed, update their user information.
