Where can I find it? Company >>> Payment Gateways
Redsys InSite enables payment processing by embedding an iframe directly into your service checkout, offering a fully integrated experience without redirects (unlike the classic Redsys solution).
InSite solution benefits:
- A simple payment experience for customers, fully integrated into your TuriTop widget without redirects.
- Better track of marketing metrics in the checkout.
- Enhanced security, comparable to external payment page solutions.
Considerations:
The initial Operation ID is valid for only 30 minutes to start the transaction. So no matter what you configure in Company >>> Default Settings >>> Booking holds, the retention time while confirming the payment will be a max. of 30 mins.
The following cards are not supported:
- American Express (SafeKey 1.0.2)
- Diners Club International (1.0.2)
- JCB (JCB Secure 1.0.2)
Instructions
Follow the instructions below to activate this payment gateway:
Step 1: Obtain the Redsys Virtual POS
The first step is to contact your financial institution to confirm whether they offer Redsys virtual POS service. If they do, they will provide you with the terms and conditions of the contract, along with details about the commissions applied to each transaction. Once you sign the contract and receive approval (typically after a few days), you will receive an email containing the necessary information to configure Redsys in TuriTop.
If you already have your Redsys production credentials, skip to step 5.
The banking entities ask their users to specify the country of origin of the transaction where the reservation is made.
For example, you can add it within a field of the booking form: Company >>> Booking form >>> and add a Custom HTML field.
Due to security reasons, you need to add "Terms and Conditions" to your booking form, as shown in the image below, for your users to accept them before making any purchase. Keep in mind that it cannot be accepted by default.
Step 2: Get your Test Credentials
Inside the email you receive after enabling Redsys POS, you will get the credentials to configure the payment gateway for the "testing mode". For example:
- Merchant Code (FUC): "999008881"
- Terminal number: "1"
- Merchant Secure Key or Encryption key, HASH_Pru: "sq7HjrUOBfKmC576ILgskD5srU870gJ7"
Step 3: Activate the Redsys InSite Payment Gateway
Access your TuriTop Control Panel and go to Company >>> Receiving Payments >>> REDSYS INSITE PAYMENT GATEWAY (Spain).
Copy and paste the credentials received in the mail into their corresponding fields and click on the "Test Mode" option to activate it.
Leave ''Auto-capture payment'' marked to receive payments instantly. In case you want to capture the payment manually from your Redsys control panel, follow these instructions.
Step 4: Perform the Test Payments
Redsys will ask you to perform the following test before granting you the production credentials. You must perform it directly from your booking widget: either within your TuriTop Control Panel or from your website, if you have already installed it.
Perform at least one authorized operation. Use the card they provided you or use this test card:
- Card Number: 4137360000000006
- Expiration: 12/34
- CVV2 code: 123
- CIP code: 123456
Perform at least one denied operation. Use the card they provided you or use this test card:
- Card Number: 4137360000000006
- Expiration: 12/49
- CVV code: 999
Step 5: Request the Production Keys and Include Domain
Email your financial entity - or Redsys support (soportevirtual@redsys.es) - to receive your credentials for the production mode and also to include TuriTop in the accepted domains.
If the TuriTop's URL is not included, the Redsys InSite iframe won't be loaded in your calendar.
You can copy and paste this text that we have pre-designed for you:
----------------------------------------------------------
Subject: Transition to real environment (production)
Hello,
We request to move to the REAL environment (Production) for the company "COMPANY'S NAME". We have already performed the operations requested in the Test environment.
You can also make a test booking from here: type the URL where you have installed the TuriTop widget
Additionally, we are using the Redsys InSite solution so we need you to, please, include https://app.turitop.com/ to the allowed domains.
Greetings,
----------------------------------------------------------
Step 6: Enter the Production Keys
Once you get the email with instructions on how to get the credentials for the production mode, do the following:
A- Enter your Redsys control panel. NOTE: your username is your Merchant code.
If you forget your password click "¿Has olvidado la contraseña?" to receive a new one.
B- Click on "Configuración del comercio" and on "Buscar".
C- Click on "Ver clave de firma" (enter your password again).
D- Copy the key (you'll have 10 seconds to do it).
E- Within your TuriTop panel, update the Merchant Secure Key in Company >>> Receiving Payments >>> Redsys InSite.
F- Deactivate the Test Mode.
Step 7: MakeTest in the Production Mode
We strongly advise you to make test payments before starting selling and to check how they reflect in your Redsys panel.
Disable Auto-Capture and Enable Payment Pre-Authorizations
A pre-authorization is a transaction that holds the amount in the cardholder's account without charging it, though exceptions may apply depending on the card issuer's policy. It is useful when it’s unclear if the service can be provided.
Pre-authorizations are valid for seven days, extendable up to thirty days depending on the bank. This feature is only available for VISA and MasterCard.
To use payment pre-authorizations with Redsys, follow these steps:
- Enable the pre-authorization feature for your business. You must request Redsys support or your bank to activate this service, as it is not enabled by default.
- Disable the auto-capture option. This can be done from your TuriTop panel by going to Company >>> Receiving Payments >>> Redsys and unchecking the option "Auto-capture payment".
- Check for new payment options. Once the service is activated, additional payment options will appear in your Redsys account.
If you do not complete these steps, pre-authorization attempts will be declined with the error code Denied 9256 ("The merchant cannot perform pre-authorizations").
For more details, check the official Redsys documentation on Pre-Authorizations and Confirmations.
