At TuriTop, all confirmation emails have a unique QR code associated to them. In this article, we will explain how to manage the check-in of your bookings in TuriTop from mobile devices. We will look at both the process of scanning the QR code using native or third-party applications, and the use of the TuriTop App itself, available for Android and iOS devices.
The check-in process acts as a real-time security filter: when a check-in is registered, the system saves the search, checks the exact time and automatically updates all the information on your control panel. This allows you to instantly detect any attempts at fraud, whether they be forged codes, out-of-date bookings or QR codes that have already been used, in which case the system will indicate that the customer has already checked in to avoid duplication.
How to Scan the QR Code for Bookings
Step 1: Log in to TuriTop
From your mobile phone browser, go to app.turitop.com and enter your login credentials (email and password).
Step 2: Scan the Code
Using any scanning application (native or third-party) on your iOS or Android device, scan the QR code for the booking. This will automatically redirect you to the TuriTop dashboard, where you can immediately confirm and register the check-in.

How to Check-in with the TuriTop App
TuriTop has its own native application, available for both Android and iOS. With it, you can manage your guests' access and check them in quickly and directly from your mobile phone. You can download it via the following links: Android and iOS.
Step 1: Log in
Once you have opened the TuriTop app, enter your login details (email address and password). Please note that these details are the same as those you normally use to access the web version at app.turitop.com.
If you usually use the same device, you can check the "Remember me" option so that your session remains open and you do not have to enter your details every time you open the application. If you cannot remember your password, use the "Forgot password?" link; the system will automatically send you an email with the steps you need to take to reset it and regain access to your dashboard securely.
Step 2: Check-in your Bookings
Once you have logged in, you are ready to check in your bookings. The system offers two main methods, depending on whether you have the customer's physical/digital receipt or prefer to search for it manually.
Check-in with QR Code
This is the fastest method. You will see that this screen opens your device's camera directly to scan the code. It is important that if the application requests access to your device's camera, you grant it.
By default, it is not necessary to select the service or event manually, as the QR code contains all the information and will take you directly to the booking. However, you can apply Service and Event filters beforehand to ensure that you are only validating bookings belonging to that specific event, thus avoiding access errors.
Scan results:
- Success: If the booking is valid, a green screen will appear confirming the customer's details.
- Review Notice: If the booking is in a status that requires attention (e.g. Unpaid, Partially Paid, or Not confirmed), an orange screen will be displayed. This allows you to review the situation before proceeding. From here, you can choose the "Go Back" option if you decide not to check in at that time.
- Error (Already scanned): To prevent fraud, if you scan a code that has already been used, the system will display a yellow alert screen, indicating the exact date and time when the first check-in was made.
- Error (Incorrect event): If the QR code belongs to an event other than the one configured in the Service and Event filters, you will see a red alert screen displaying the message: "Error in filters".
Check-in without QR Code
This method is ideal for when the customer does not have their receipt to hand or prefers to search for it in a list.
Preliminary steps:
- Filtering: Select the Service and Event from the drop-down menus (you will only see the options available for your user profile).
- Access: Press the blue "Check-in without QR code" button to see the list of bookings that can be checked in.
Options within each booking: Within the list, you will see a summary view of each booking with the following action buttons:
View More: Expand the booking details. Here you can see customised form fields and payment status (total amounts, paid and pending).
- Edit: Automatically redirects you to the web version (app.turitop.com) to make changes to the booking.
- Check-in: Manually check-in. When you press this button, you will receive the same Success or Error messages mentioned in the previous section on QR code scanning.
Using the search button, you can search for bookings by entering the customer's name or email address. This will allow you to quickly locate the booking for a more direct check-in.
Account Management and View Preferences
The settings button located at the top right of the application allows you to access options for managing your account and customising your user experience. This section includes the following functions:
- Personal information: Allows you to view the name and email address of the user you are logged in as.
- Select company: If your user is linked to several companies, you can choose the desired account from the drop-down menu to change and manage the check-in for your bookings.
- Event Selector Constraints: Here you can define how many days before and after you want to be displayed in the "Select event" list on the main screen.
- Time zone warning: At the bottom, you will see a warning indicating that the times will be adapted to the time zone of your device. It is important to bear this in mind, as if the time settings of your TuriTop account differ from those of your mobile phone or tablet, the times shown in the app will be different from those on the control panel.

Action buttons:
- Scan QR code: Redirects you back to the initial scan screen.
- Log out: Safely ends your current session.
- Delete account: Allows you to request the permanent deletion of your user profile.
